We celebrate organic!
The near 200-year history of grape-growing and winemaking of Australia is riddled with touchstones that sit comfortably under the umbrella of organic wine. There are a few key differences that make them different from “conventional” wines. Organic winemakers must work with nature to nourish and protect their grapes without the help of often harmful synthetic chemicals. Ecological practices allow organic wine growers to nurture the biodiversity of the vines creating a healthy habitat for plants, insects and microorganisms. In Australia, the NASAA provides an internationally recognised Australian organic certification label.
Organic Wine Week is running from the 16th to the 22nd of September.
